CHAIRPLYKEA. 

Client: Sons of Beasly

This is a chair designed for batch production. Created from off cuts off Plykea. The joining method is simple, screws and wood glue. 

I focused on creating points of triangulation which gave strength to the cantelevred seat. 

The success of the chair comes from its sleek and centre focused design, making it seem light.

METAL STOOL

BEAD, BEND, CUT.

The final outcome of this stool was informed and driven by me playing around in the metal workshop. Looking at how to create strengthe using 0.9mm sheet steel and 2 mm wire.  

This leant me to this bent wire structure braced with the sheet steel, using bead rolling to creaet a secure hold for the spot weld.

EUTHYMOL TOOTHPASTE



BIG BATHROOM.

An accurate model of the iconic toothpaste at a scale of 1:12. This project focuses on attention to detail and material replication. 

It required a variaty of processes and techniques such as, lathe, metal work, adobe illustrator, paperfolding, cardboard modeling and upcycling from unwanted material such as cereal boxes.

CERAMICS
NUDGE. 

A set of ceramic tableware used to nudge manners around the table. 

Using my hands to nudge the clay, for example a divit to remind people to put their knife and fork together at the end of a meal. 

This was an observational project.

SPEAKER
COCOON. 

A live project with luminate. 

By designing a self assembling speaker using card we reduce waste and prove that stong and repairable design does not require luxury material. 

Through this the user is also taught about sound, transforming the sopeaker into a personal and meaningful object.

The package becomes the speaker itself.
